I've relaunched my poor, neglected newsletter - the poor thing had been long forgotten about, covered in dust and sat forlorn at the back of the cupboard wondering what she had done wrong - a bit like me with every relationship break down.
But hurrah! After a nudge and some elbow grease I polished her up, told her I loved her and added a lick of paint for good measure. Now this is our TOP DRAWER GANG - monthly email magazine, packed with inspiration, what I've been up to, challenges for you to join, and quite possibly pretty pictures.
If you're already a subscriber, then thank you - something should be landing on your email doorstep at the end of the month; if you haven't yet subscribed, then show a poor newsletter some love to raise her self esteem? She's a bit shy about her new look and not sure if she's the right age to be carrying it off, 'Mutton dressed as lamb' as she keeps muttering. Prove her wrong by joining us HERE and hop on board!
Thank you! You're ace!
Hi Guys! Just a quick shout out to let you know I have a new skillshare class up - would love to see you over there! CLICK HERE to get to the class.
How are you all! It has been a while since I posted something for you all, and this week it is Valentine's Day, so I thought I would share a donwloadable A5 print of this piece of art I made a couple of years ago with ink stamps. L'amour!

Many years ago, before illustration even became an idea for a job, I hosted a sketch-along over on Facebook. I was still a highly hastled, homeschooling mum and it wasn't long before I bailed - I deleted my Facebook account and all the groups I ran. It wasn't just that I could never find the time for the group, I just couldn't even find time for my art!
But I've often thought about re-hosting a sketch-along. Then the other day I was nudged by Denise of Wholly Rooted that she wouldn't mind a sketch group if I was thinking about it, and that was just the impetus I needed to finally get my act together.
So, sketch-along redux 2020 - the Green Man Art Sketch Club!
The group will congregate over on the private Facebook group, and it is here that I envisage much sharing and chit-chatter about all things, art and whatever.
On Sunday (5.Jan.20) I will upload the prompt list, and hopefully also more content regarding improving our drawing as well. In my mind, if I can tame the thoughts that crowd my brain, I'd like this to be somewhat of a cross between a class and a social circle. For those who don't like to join, or have no Facebook account then you can follow along on instagram by using the given hashtags to find each other. If you follow my instagram account @greenmanart I'll post the prompt list there too.
To help kick-start your festivities I thought blinging up your mantel was in order - if you CLICK THIS LINK there is PDF for you to download and print containing two houses to construct - one for colouring in, and one already rendered. With a bit of personalisation (and fairy lights!) a winter village to add some winter cheer is a fine way to start the decorating! You can print off as many as you like!
If you do share your creations on social media be sure to tag me in #greenmanart so I can find you!
So, winter. Let's do this.
